Fast Fiction Contest – THROUGH ALIEN EYES – Now Open

Ancient. Strange. Horrid. Mystical. Savage.

The galaxy is host to countless species, all of whom exist in staunch defiance of the Imperium of Mankind. With various biological and planetary backgrounds, these species have developed unique cultures and motivations, raising questions about what it means to be the “other” in humanity’s eyes…

Through Alien Eyes encourages writers to explore the journey of an alien character (intelligent, bestial, or wholly bizarre) belonging to one of the core starfaring races (Drukhari, Aeldari, Harlequins, Necrons, Orks, T’au and Tyranids) OR a lesser alien species (established or original) living within the setting of Warhammer 40,000.

What is Fast Fiction?
Fast Fiction is an unofficial writing competition focused around 1 theme. 1,000 words. 1 winner.

The Fast Fiction contest is held bi-monthly, and are open to all levels of experience. Submissions are graded according to a judge-selected theme. Stories must capture the reader’s attention quickly while fulfilling the promise of the theme, setting, and character development.
