Lumio, a leading interactive education software, approached us with a challenge: develop an outside-the-box campaign that promotes their product as a tool for active learning.
They needed something fresh—something that broke away from traditional marketing and truly engaged educators in an unexpected way. We were up for the challenge.

Ideation
To align with Lumio’s vision of active, dynamic, and engaging learning experiences, we developed the “Active Learning Anywhere” concept—showcasing three custom-branded boards (surfboard, snowboard, skateboard) as metaphors for flexibility, movement, and engagement in learning.
Each board represented a different way educators and students could take learning beyond the classroom—whether in digital spaces, at home, or in creative environments.
Execution & Production
To bring the campaign to life, we started by researching and securing vendors capable of designing and constructing three custom-branded boards that aligned seamlessly with Lumio’s identity. We ensured that every detail—materials, craftsmanship, and aesthetics—met high-quality standards, overseeing the process from initial concept through to the final product. Throughout production, we documented key milestones to capture the journey behind these unique pieces.
With the boards in place, we shifted focus to video content production. We filmed behind-the-scenes interviews with the artisans, showcasing their craftsmanship and the meticulous attention to detail that went into each board, and also captured dynamic footage of the boards in action, reinforcing the campaign’s theme of movement and adaptability in active learning. The raw footage was then edited into engaging short-form content, optimized specifically for paid social media ads to maximize impact.
As the campaign rolled out, we ensured the final video content was polished and strategically deployed across paid social channels for maximum engagement. The messaging was carefully crafted to connect active learning with the metaphor of movement, reinforcing Lumio’s core values. To drive conversions, we directed audiences to the Lumio landing page, creating a seamless journey from inspiration to action.
